INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE LUBRICANT DAMOFF WAX LUBE , FOR A CORRECT LUBRICATION OF THE CHAIN.

1. Clean the chain of any previous lubricant residue. Use degreasing agents for this purpose, avoiding gasoline because it leaves grease residues. Allow to dry completely before applying.

2. Lubricate with DAMOFF WAX LUBE until we check that the product has penetrated in all the chain's grooves, for this we should see a layer of bank color in all the chain by the applied zone. Do not remove the excess and let it dry.

3. After returning from riding, wipe the chain with a dry rag to remove any dust and dirt that may be on the chain. Re-lubricate and allow to dry; the chain will be ready for the next ride.

Important points to keep in mind:

1. The first time the chain is lubricated with Damoff Wax Lube , it is advisable to apply the lubricant generously so that the wax penetrates well between the chain's grommets.

Do not mix with other oils or waxes. The oil will dissolve and ruin the dry wax layer created and you will have to clean everything again and apply the wax from the beginning.

3. It is not advisable to apply Damoff Wax Lube just before riding. It is preferable to lubricate the day before so that the chain is completely dry and lubricated at the time of riding. If we go out riding with a wet lubricant, it will attract dirt just like a normal oil lubricant and its duration will be shorter.

No, it is not recommended since it contaminates the product and it cannot work properly.

Our recommendation is yes, but our product can easily withstand at least 3 bike rides without having to re-lubricate the chain. 

Yes, the lubricant Damoff Wax Lube is made for use in dry and wet conditions. Although for very wet conditions we recommend our product Damoff Wet Lube. 

It is not necessary, our product is designed to be applied directly on the chain, by hitting the pedals in the reverse direction of travel. 

Yes, no problem. The bike's transmission will run very smoothly and cleaning it will be much easier than with any other oily lubricant. Professional road teams have tested our product on their road bikes.
